And so I present to you, an object of utmost desire An object that defines a lineage An object that binds ones aspirations An object that shackles ones ambitions An object that controls ones autonomy An object that subjugates ones motivation An object that can free oneself from tyranny For I stand before you and speak none other! Than the almighty dollar! And so I present to you, an object of utmost desire An object that controls ones autonomy An object that determines ones fate An object that depicts ones morality An object that expounds ones purpose An object that elevates ones privilege An object that interprets ones status For I stand before you to speak none other! Than the almighty dollar! For I stand before you and speak none other! Than the almighty dollar!

Demons 03:45
Just tell me that you love me Tell me that you need me Tell that you love me Just tell that you need me I need you to love me And I've got my reasons I want you to hold me Because I've got my demons (repeat 3x) Give me all the reasons To keep up with these feelings And let me keep believing That our love is slowly healing (repeat 2x) Just tell me that you love me Tell me that you need me Tell that you love me Just tell that you need me I need you to love me To keep up with these feelings I want you to hold me That our love is slowly healing Give me all the reasons To keep up with these feelings And let me keep believing Because I've got my demons

about

Album completed for the RPM 2024 challenge!

Beatcoin is an album mainly joking about American capitalist society at large but definitely keeps it light. Interpreting things like the gacha loop used in many mobile games and perhaps what slippers would sound like in a pitch meeting. You've got a track preaching to you about the glory of a dollar bill and a love song mixed in because sure - why not.

In 2022 I had done a concept album which required a lot of work (as I only have a month to do it all!) - this time I decided to just "play" and see what happened. I spent the first week composing followed by another week or so of flushing out ideas to engineering the track layouts, record vocals and drum midi. The last bit of time was spent mixing and mastering.

DAW: FL Studio 21

VST's used:

Synths:
ReFX - Vanguard 3
Roland - JD-800
Roland - System-100
Roland - JX-3P
Roland - Juptier-8
Roland - Promars
Roland - Juno-106
Waldorf - PPG Wave 3.V (in 2.3 mode)

Drums:
Aly James Labs - VSDSX

Mastering:
izotope - Ozone 10

Vocals:
izotope - Nectar 3
izotope - Vocal Synth 2

Physical midi input devices:
Yamaha - Motif ES6
Yamaha - DTX-Multi 12

I'm working towards becoming a more "complete" artist; several tracks have my own drum work for the first time. I do all my own mixing and mastering - all music is tone generated, no samples are used (other than my own vocals).
